Research Note: Peace Creates the Space for Love to Reside in | Steve Beckow

The peace that Michael is working to bring to Earth is not simply a cessation of war. I know you know that.

Twice in my life, if I recall correctly, I’ve experienced peace as a state of consciousness and it, like love, bears no relationship to the everyday state of peace that we may be used to.

First of all, the state is free of any kind of stressor – worry, fear, frustration, etc.

Secondly, as long as one remains peaceful, one feels tremendously strong and confident. I’ve said before that this explains why Gandhi could say to the Governor General of India that he hoped their differences would not come between them as men. What D******t or Republican could say that to the other today?

Peace opens up vistas externally and releases new capabilities internally. What pulls us away from it most often is the ego’s demands for recognition, affirmation, validation, etc. Peace exists when the ego is silent. Or at least not listened to.

Peace is friendly to love. Michael once remarked that I had my heart opening in part because I’d created the space for love to stop and settle in rather than simply pass me by as a wisp. Peace creates this space for love to reside in. (1)

But again a person could be at peace and fight off opponents, as the Zen martial arts demonstrate. The real peace, worth s*********g for, begins as an inner experience but ultimately becomes our world.

When one is clinging to core issues, to fear, to lack, to limitation – you know the list – there is not that sense, not only of spaciousness, but of acceptance, allowance, readiness and even permission. Because as you know, we continually say that we will never override your free will.

So, if the will, either actively or subconsciously, is actually choosing to still engage in the issues or the drama, then although we are standing at readiness and still penetrating you, that open door is not there.
