My dear friends, we love you so very much,

Take a deep breath and, for a moment, let peace engulf you. Breathe in as if you are inhaling the purest air on your planet. Think of all the beautiful trees sharing their life-giving oxygen, and accept the gift by inhaling deeply.

You are being loved at this very moment by a planet that supports you through the very air that you breathe. You are being loved by a star that unconditionally shines upon you. You are being sustained by the waters that cycle between earth and sky, fed by the fruits of the earth, and protected by her atmosphere. You are energized when you connect with her—grounding yourself and releasing excess energies—and you are revitalized by cellular processes supported by the light of your sun.

Nestled between the earth and your sun, you are given all that you need to live and thrive on your earthly journey. You are loved.

You are known, loved, sustained, and cared for by beings as majestic as a planet and her star. You are on the earth and part of the earth. You receive the light of the sun and, as well, you carry it in your hearts. One with creation, dear ones, you are small in form but mighty in your loving energy.

You are so loved.

Your Mother Earth feels each and every one of you as surely as you can feel every part of your own body. She feels those of you who allow love to flow as a beautiful circulation, and she feels those stuck in hatred as areas of numbness, tension, or pain.

The chaos, the wars, the horrors are small compared to her vastness and the vastness of humanity, and yet she feels them and mourns for her children who have not yet discovered the joy of her peace. Whether one is at war with a nation or at war within oneself, she wishes you peace. Whether one is dropping bombs on fellow human beings or the bombs of criticism upon oneself, she feels the attack and mourns the separation and pain inflicted. She loves you all equally, in a way that only a mother who gives life can love.

She knows, dear ones, that a war is not an isolated event carried out by the few, but rather a vibration that builds as whole populations attack one another’s beliefs, ideologies, creeds, cultures, genders, political persuasions, and so many more superficial differences—until the vibration of war becomes so large it is outpictured on a global scale.

Still, she knows your innocence. She helps to release the tension through storms and earth changes. She seeks not to harm, but to release the pressures her children have built within themselves.

Dear ones, you can honor your Mother Earth by refraining from the many small wars that rage in your own lives. You can refrain from attacking yourself or belittling others. You can refuse to dignify senseless arguments with your participation.

You can end the war with your junk drawer by cleaning it out, or the war with traffic every morning on your way to work. You can end the war with your wrinkles or those few extra pounds. You can end the war with opposing political parties, or the person in your life who was most unkind.

We are not suggesting that you give up wanting greater kindness and love. We are not telling you to invite your nemesis to tea! We are simply suggesting that you stop battling life and start focusing on what you want and what you like.

We pray that you allow yourself the peace of a powerful presence in a forward-focused life, rather than tethering yourself to all that you dislike. If you want peace on earth, dear ones, start by choosing peace within your own mind and heart, peace within your life, and then peace within your own sphere of influence.

If enough of you choose to end the countless miniature wars you have throughout the day, the larger ones would run out of energy much sooner.

Every time you choose love over hate, congratulate yourself. You have just contributed to world peace.

Every time you love yourself enough to feel your feelings and love yourself through them, you have chosen to release the pressures on the earth.

Every time you refrain from criticizing yourself or another, you have dropped one less bomb.
