Many channels, including Matthew Ward, remind us that we are individually, personally ascending, not moving in lockstep with every other being. I interpret that to mean that there is to be no mass Ascension event per se. 

Megan Rose noted that the planet would energetically fall apart if we all had the same opinions and the same outlook, rather than traversing the unique, intricate funhouse journeys we’re taking. Our differing energetic signatures and hopscotching between dimensions / densities maintains an energetic balance that holds the planet together. I tend to agree with that opinion, which also appears to support that there is not to be a mass Ascension event per se. 

Other individuals assert that humans who are ready will ascend en masse; but really, who on Earth can know? It’s no wonder I’m a bit confused, and cling to the possibility that a solar flare or The Event is going to fast-forward “the ascending ones” instantly into the New Earth.

Much as I want to embrace that instantaneous shift, it doesn’t seem like something the Original Mind would’ve concocted. 

I see the Original Mind’s infinitely malleable story as a jubilantly chaotic toss of countless pickup sticks, coughed up by Universal Oneness eons ago. Those sticks aren’t likely to line up on cue, with military precision, and simultaneously zing toward some cosmic Ascension target.

What would be the point? If we are resolutely individual until we return to One, why would there be a shortcut where innumerable individuals are corralled into a single universal experience like some artificial hive mind? We are not the Borg, and I, for one, am not fond of the notion of taking the exact same journey, on a synchronized schedule, lumped in with millions of others.

I will probably waffle between believing that “the event” is going to save me from this wretched slogging life, and shrugging off such a notion. I’ll just cheerfully (or grumpily) continue my individual slog through That Which Is, and not rely on something outside of myself to rescue me. 

Matthew stated, “Please don’t think darkness will last 35 to 40 more years—it won’t!…Furthermore, some changes you will wholeheartedly welcome already are on the way and many more will be coming in increments.” It seems we won’t have to “ascend” to experience lives on Planet Earth that are much more to our liking than what many of us endure now. And as Jennifer Hoffman noted, “Our ascension journey is about creating ‘heaven on earth,’ not destroying the earth so heaven can take over.” That sounds to me like a progression, not a Big Bang / Mass Ascension.

I will happily speculate that those near-future changes include med beds (or something like them), the Reval (or something like it), and an overall harmony and peacefulness that will organically percolate up from within our individual Light-rising selves and from within our planet as the stranglehold of the darkness dissolves.

It may not be instantaneous, and it may not cover the entire globe with an unlikely, homogenized blanket of good cheer, but I will gladly tug a corner of that blanket over my weary self and partake of uplifted well-being and the abundance of goodness (as well as goods) that will appear.

That scenario of incoming beneficence, perhaps at a pace that humanity can absorb without overloading our beleaguered human circuitry, seems a likely possibility. Much more likely than a solar flare or event triggered by the Original Mind pushing a switch somewhere with its invisible wizard’s finger.

And if there is a solar flare, an event? If I’m meant to partake, I shall. And gladly consign my doubts and confusion to the Akashic dustbin of history.
