Fear has No Foothold; or, you will Always Exist | Steve Beckow

All of what exists has reality only on its own dimension.

To express into the Astral Plane or [Fourth Dimension minus the physical body], I need to leave the physical body behind. I express into it through the next body in the interdimensional Babushka doll – the astral body.

When I became aware of the independence of my physical body during my out-of-body experience in 1977, I was surprised. “I’m not my body?” I asked myself, in more than a little shock. And my body dropped from being my focus of attention to an item that was “not going anywhere” or “had no future.”

This was 1977 and I didn’t know then what I know now. As far as I was concerned, I was going to die and, since that was my fate, along with everyone else’s, knowing I was not my body was cosmically significant.

So I’m very much aware that these hands that are typing on the keyboard are only real on this Fourth Dimension we’re in. Apparently now they’ll persist, but in the dimensional design that prevailed before, they would not have.

As long as I’m convinced that I’m an intelligent body that remains alive for a while and then is utterly destroyed by d***h (instead of d***h being a door), I feel fear.

Ultimately, we fear extinction. We fear the lights going permanently out.

Once I know that I’m an eternal being inhabiting a series of bodies by choice, once I see that d***h is just a doorway to another world that we all go through – and survive – fear has no foothold.

We have no other opponent but fear.  Fear is the fertile ground from which all other plants – such as anger, jealousy, hatred, etc. – arise. To coattail on President Roosevelt, all we have to fear is fear itself; life works out. (1)

So really, if we want to do a piece of growth work, we might want to take our awareness to our fear(s). Just be with them. Be aware of them. Feel into them. Get to know them.

They have a role to play, but that role has been magnified by the divide-and-conquer c***l, played upon in song and film. Now we may have to quiet those fears down – those generalized fears we may find we have.

I do and I don’t. I have fears around social matters – making a gaffe, feeling humiliated, that kind of thing. But none around d***h.

I could leave tomorrow and, aside from missing everyone, I’d just settle down at a higher version of a computer keyboard and … well, maybe not.

Maybe I’d just put my feet up at Star Med, at the other end of the universe, a mere portal away.

You get my drift.  There’s nothing to fear cosmically. You will always exist.  Of that much I’m sure. The fear of extinction has no basis in reality.
