Hello Beloveds,
What is happiness but a label to chase? An idealized set of circumstances to fantasize about whenever adrift in feelings defined as its opposite.
What is happiness but the long-awaited reward for enduring a lifetime of perceived punishment?
What is happiness but a karmic lottery ticket that our deepest pain yearns to cash when masquerading as patterns of control?
What is happiness but the good fortune reflected in other people’s fate that somehow never makes it over the fence to our side of the yard?
While happiness is real, its aliveness cannot be contained in the form of any momentary preference, nor does it live in a dimension opposite to sadness, hurt, fear, or despair.
Instead, happiness is the flight pattern of a butterfly whose only truth is the will and freedom to be.
For when we remove the lid of definitions projected upon the notion of happiness, we allow the butterfly of freedom to express itself—whether venturing through darker skies of adversity or moving through the brilliance of brighter days.
When happiness is left undefined, there is nothing within or around you that may dim its shine or crowd its way. Without definition, there is no opposite vibration to overcome, move past, or transcend.
Happiness, when left undefined, is simply the will to live through every moment you are meant to face and come out the other end more expansive, heroic, wise, and mature than any moment before. Not because you forced yourself to ‘do it all right,’ but because there is an infinite stream of Source energy within you ensuring your highest success—whether you think you’re doing it all yourself, have seen it as the magic of Source energy doing it all, or have noticed both sides of interconnection working in unison like the movement of waves carrying out the will of an eternal ocean.
May this moment become the metaphor of a bonfire, as we toss into its center all the ideas, expectations, fantasies, and projections of what we thought happiness would be, allowing the flames to melt from your heart any particular way you have been separated from the truth of happiness that is always within you.
May the origin of its location remain unknown and the description of its appearance be kept undefined, so there is no place or circumstance where happiness is unable to be.
This way, the only environment where it can be unearthed and examined is within the fertile ground of your infinite being.
All of this is simply to help you remember that happiness is not a static emotional state the ego can control.
Happiness is the truth of who you are.
It is the rhythm of the one Universal heart beating as One.
It is the very breath that you breathe.
When happiness is no longer assumed to be one circumstance over another, then the truth it invites into your life is knowing the only thing happiness could ever be is YOU—exactly as you are right now.
