I’d like to illustrate how help will be there when we need it.

I wrote:

“We have to refuse to settle for the bodily sensations that the base states bring (enjoy them but don’t settle for them) and gamble on investing in something untried and unknown – the divine states that will take us into the higher dimensions.

“The divine states which are the higher dimensions.” (1)

The thought expressed in this last sentence was completely new to me. I don’t even think I thought it. But when I thought it, I felt a jolt. And whether that triggered the bliss that followed or was triggered by it, the jolt was immediately followed by the rising of bliss.

The bliss elevated me and, given that I was reading “the divine states that will take us into the higher dimensions” at that moment, it corrected me from a higher vantage point: “The divine states that are the higher dimensions.”

What was my reaction?

(A) I was startled by the new thought coming from I-knew-not-where.

(B) I was inspired by the accuracy and helpfulness of the distinction.

(C) I found myself happy because I really liked the distinction and was pleased it had come through my pen.

This is the second time this has happened to me recently. The other day I found myself saying to someone for whom the statement was appropriate: “Love finds a way.” Excuse me? Who just said that? I wish I’d said it.  … I did?

Well, I point these minor occurrences out because they go towards confirming that help will be there when we need it. Here was inspiration when I needed it.  I certainly have seen ample interventions (potential housefires put out, toxic substances neutralized, heavy objects made light, etc.) (2) to feel comfortable with the notion that help will be there when I need it.

“Comfortable” means relaxed on the subject but not yet willing to consign the matter to what Werner called “the background of obviousness” as a settled fact.  I still have a wee bit of hesitancy, a modicum of withholding for reasons I know not.  Oh. I hear a voice saying: “You never know.”

But I also think this too will disappear as no reasons for fear or apprehension arise in my near future. Looking back, I can see rapid emergence so far fueled by inspiration or what I call “distinctions.”  The future promises more, more quickly, and more rewarding.

(2) With two days to go to find a new apartment, Michael led us on the first “go” to one that met all my requirements; then got us through a referral from a corrupt former management. Later he said “they” considered all that I wanted and determined that this was the best location – and of course it is, for me. Prevention of electrocution, money is always there and always arrives on time, etc., etc.
