Experiencing the World for God – Part 1/2

In the awareness game, (1) we are our subjects of study. We watch ourselves more and more deeply and share what we discover. (2)

Why that ? And how is it a path to God?

Well, what is the one assignment everyone has been given? To find out who we are, is it not?  (3)

And who are we? Well, I can tell you but it won’t make a whit of difference. We have to realize it.

Everyone and everything is God. Of what value is realizing it?

The whole illusory multiverse exists for one purpose: For God to meet God in a moment of our enlightenment.

When one of us realizes we are God, at that moment, God meets God. How else would God meet herself (4) when she is all there is?

In a sense we’re her hands and eyes. God experiences through us.

My favorite snack is a cup of coffee and a peanut butter cookie to dip. Today I offered the experience of this wonderful cookie to the Mother through me. And then I revelled in it, with absolutely no guilt!

I am the means for God to experience the world.

Experiencing the World for God – Part 2/2

(Concluded from Part 1, above.)

If I’m to continue, I have to interject that we process information at different levels of consciousness. A friend just told me there’s a foreign object nearing our solar system. Aha, I’ll go look. And I do or I don’t.

This information sits with me like a good idea. That’s as far as it penetrates my consciousness.

Another friend tells me a story of a great tragedy and to “get this” I have to re-experience it as she speaks.  Experiencing is a more refined level of existence than only intellectually grasping something.

And realization is the highest of all, releasing in us experiences and knowledge we would not otherwise have.

We can’t just summon a realization, in my experience, although we can catalyze it [I made the word up] by remaining with our experience instead of drawing back to the lesser intellectual level.

Let me illustrate with one of my core issues or vasanas. (1)

Because my Dad always attached a condition to a gift he gave me, or asked for a this-for-that (quid pro quo), I grew up not asking for anything from anybody. All fine and dandy.

I’d do it myself.  No, thanks. I have my own lunch. Nope, don’t need a hand. Etc.

But then I’d become overloaded and sink under the weight of work until I collapsed. That has been my pattern, lo, these threescore years and ten.

This thought that I’d rather do it myself exists at a deep level and I’d have to go deep to complete the experience attached to it.

So I’m sagging at the moment and thus pondering the issue. I remain with the experience of weariness; that is, I remain at the experiential level.

And what happens is interesting. I had a minor realization. It didn’t blow the top of my head off, but, rather, it showed up like a starburst of understanding.

“I can’t do everything.” Hello…..

Having physical bodies that need food, shelter, and sleep was meant to bring us into social contact and cooperation so that unitive consciousness could arise in us.

It wasn’t intended that each person grow their own food, cook it, build a house for themselves, print money, pick up their own mail, etc. It was intended to be a social enterprise that brings us into contact and union.

OK, OK. I need this talking to. This is addressing my tendency to do everything all myself.

You see how realizations solve thorny problems and open up possibilities? And yet all realization is, in my view, is seeing, temporarily, from a higher perspective (or dimension).

From this “altitude,” to use Suzi’s word, the solution is apparent and easy. Don’t get me started on this, but it’s the love that flows there that makes this possible.

So, to summarize, we process information at three levels: intellectual, experiential, and realizational.

What we cannot see from the intellectual level may be crystal-clear from the realizational.

The reason for this design is to take individuated consciousnesses and raise them up from self-awareness to Self-Awareness and achieve the purpose of life: For God to meet God in a moment of our enlightenment.
