The Power of Focused Conversation: Why Talking About Problems Can Hold You Back

When it comes to discussing the challenges and issues that life throws our way, it’s easy to get c****t up in the details. We often feel compelled to talk about the problems we’re facing, whether it’s our own personal struggles or those of someone we care about. However, according to Abraham, a spiritual collective channeled by Esther Hicks, this tendency to focus on the negative can actually do more harm than good. In this blog post, we’ll explore the idea that talking about something that doesn’t feel good can reactivate it in our vibration, making it harder to find a solution.

The key takeaway from Abraham’s teachings is that focusing on problems doesn’t lead to solutions. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. When we dwell on the issues at hand, we become vibrationally aligned with the problem itself, rather than the solution. This means that our point of attraction becomes the problem, rather than the desired outcome. As a result, we become less clear and less able to facilitate a positive change. Abraham emphasizes that “no solution ever comes forth – it’s never inspired; you never recognize it, and you are never able to facilitate or achieve it—from your place of focusing on the problem.”

So, what’s the alternative? Abraham suggests that we should focus on what’s going right, rather than what’s going wrong. By doing so, we can shift our point of attraction to a more positive vibration, one that is in harmony with the Source that gives us solutions. For example, if someone has many things going wrong and one thing going right, we should “beat the drum of what’s going right” and let that be our point of attraction. By focusing on the positive aspect, we can create a vibrational harmony that allows us to tap into the Source and find a solution.

This idea may seem counterintuitive at first, as many of us have been taught that we need to focus on the problem in order to find a solution. However, Abraham’s teachings suggest that this approach is actually misguided. By dwelling on the problem, we’re not creating a clear path to a solution. Instead, we’re reinforcing the negative vibration, making it harder to escape. On the other hand, by focusing on the positive, we can create a clear and inspired path forward.

So, the next time you’re tempted to discuss someone’s problems or your own, take a step back and consider whether it’s really going to make you feel better. If not, it’s probably best to let it go. As Abraham says, “It is of no value, ever, to activate and talk about something that doesn’t feel good, because it reactivates it in your vibration.” By being mindful of our conversations and focusing on what’s going right, we can create a more positive and solution-oriented vibration, one that allows us to help others and ourselves in a more meaningful way.

[Reference]:

It should only be talked about if the talking will make you feel better. It is of no value, ever, to activate and talk about something that doesn’t feel good, because it reactivates it in your vibration; it makes it another point of your point of attraction so you’re less clear.

In other words, when you focus upon the problems of others, you diminish your ability to help them. People believe that you’ve got to focus upon the problem in order to find a solution. And we say, no solution ever comes forth – it’s never inspired; you never recognize it, and you are never able to facilitate or achieve it—from your place of focusing on the problem. They are two entirely different vibrations.

If you have someone who has many things going wrong and one thing going right, beat the drum of what’s going right, and let that be your point of attraction. If you focus upon their problems, you achieve vibrational harmony with something other than the Source that gives you solution.
