In a beautiful and profound Heavenletter dated March 11, 2001, and re-shared on March 31, 2026, God invites us to “Enter My Presence.” This simple yet powerful call to action is an invitation to deepen our connection with the divine, to move beyond the superficial and mundane, and to immerse ourselves in the realm of the sacred. As we explore the meaning and significance of this invitation, we embark on a journey of self-discovery, love, and spiritual growth.
God begins by addressing a common query: “You wonder what I mean exactly when I say come to Me.” The answer lies in linking our thoughts with the divine. Our thoughts have the power to connect us to various aspects of life, some pleasurable, others not. However, when we link our thoughts to the Source of Thought, we tap into a reservoir of energy that is solid, purposeful, and uplifting. This is not a physical movement but a shift in awareness, a turning of our attention towards the divine.
The concept of awareness is central to this Heavenletter. God describes awareness as a stilling of the waters, a sense that is deeper than a pause. It is a “Godsense,” a feeling that emanates from the heart. As we become aware of God’s presence, we become aware of God’s thought of us. This is not a mental exercise but a profound sense of connection that fills our being. We are invited to enter the realm of God’s awareness, where we are seen and loved.
The imagery used in the Heavenletter is striking. God is staring at us with eyes of love, and we are invited to turn around and meet God’s gaze. This encounter is likened to a swelling wave that lifts us closer to the divine. As our eyes meet, we are on a “billow of love,” and our hearts are filled with the light of God’s presence. The invitation is to shine our hearts with the polish God gives us, to light our lives with the divine.
One of the most significant insights from this Heavenletter is that God is already internal to us. The task is not to bring God closer but to become aware of God’s presence within. As we do so, God’s presence becomes our eyes, and our vision expands. Our eyes and heart are connected, and as we see God’s beauty, our hearts expand. This, in turn, allows us to see the beauty of the universe.
The Heavenletter uses the metaphor of a bakery to describe the experience of entering God’s presence. We pass by the bakery every day, until one day we decide to walk in. The aromas and tastes within are far more exquisite than anything we experienced outside. As we sample the “mouth-watering samples” offered by God, we discover a new world of sweetness and delight. Having tasted the divine, we carry the aroma and taste with us, and it becomes a part of our being.
The question is posed: “Have you left?” The answer is both yes and no. We have entered the bake-shop of Heaven through one door, and we leave by another. Or, we could say that we never leave. The images of the bake-shop flash through our minds, and we become the images. The divine presence stays with us, guiding us, and illuminating our path.
The final message is one of empowerment. Our eyes see as we say they will. If we say that we will enter God’s presence, our eyes will open. The invitation is clear: let us enter the presence of the divine, and let us allow the love and light of God to transform our lives.

God said:
You wonder what I mean exactly when I say come to Me.
I mean to link your random thoughts with Mine. Mine are solid, purposeful, and uplifting. Your thoughts link you to something, some you find pleasurable, like food and entertainment, some unpleasurable, like debt and troubles. When you link your thoughts to the Source of Thought, you have the energy My thought gives you.
You do not go anywhere when you come to Me. You come to Me in your awareness. A little consideration for Me. I little occupation with Me. A little thought of My thought. My thought is not a mental exercise but rather a stilling of the waters. Awareness is still. It is not a pause. It is deeper than a pause. It is a sense. Yes, We can call your awareness of Me a sense, a sense of God, a Godsense. Let Us say that your heart senses Me. Your heart feels Me, feels My presence, and what is My presence but My love?
What you become aware of is My thought of you. Come into the realm of My awareness, and My awareness is of you.
You know how you might stare at someone, and somehow they seem to sense it, and they turn around and meet your eyes? It is like that. I am staring at you with My eyes of love, and I want you to turn around and see Me seeing you. Your little notice of Me is like a swelling wave. The wave lifts you closer to Me. You are on a billow of love as Our eyes meet and acknowledge Our kinship.
My awareness fills up the whole universe. It fills everything. It fills your heart. Now, shine that heart a little with the polish I give you. Light your life with Me.
It is not that you bring Me closer to you. I cannot be closer to you, for I am already internal to you. But your eyes can bring Me in front of you, and then I become your eyes. How wide open are your eyes then!
Your eyes and your heart are connected, almost as strongly as your heart and Mine are connected. One moves the other. One expands the other. Your eyes see My beauty, and your heart is expanded. Your heart expands, and you see the beauty of the universe right before your eyes because you let My light enter.
We could say that I open your eyes. It certainly is My will that your eyes open. Not your mouth. Your eyes. Your ears too. And then you have My touch, and My touch is love.
Consider Me a bakery. You walk past it every day, until one day it dawns on you that you can walk in. And so you do. The aromas you smelled from outside the bakery are nothing compared to the aroma within. A whole new world of sweetness opens up for you as you witness the compelling pastries close up. And I offer you mouth-watering samples, and you sample, and you know you have tasted what you have been waiting for. “So this is what it is,” you say. “This is it. All the times I went past the bakery, and the door was open, and all I had to do was to walk in, and all the times I walked by and didn’t come in.”
And now you have walked in. And now you leave, carrying the aroma and the taste of exquisitely formed light-as-air, honey-laden, sweet baked goods. That taste can never leave you. You have tasted Heaven, and you knowingly take it with you. So then have you left?
You entered the bake-shop of Heaven through one door, and you leave by another. Or We could say that you never leave. Once you have entered the bake-shop, images of it flash through your mind, and you become the images. The bake-shop goes with you.
Remember, your eyes see as you say they will. Say that you will enter My presence, and your eyes will open.
