Like Heaven itself, where you really are is a state of being. It is not a place. Your physical location, the circumstances and events around you, are not your being. You are your being. You are your own sovereign. Your state of being is yours and no one else’s.

That is why you need expanded vision. You want 380-degree vision, and that is inner vision. They are not exactly opposites, inner and outer vision. It is true that outer vision can see expanses, but it also sees the details. And the details distract you from Truth. But within this inner vision, which is not vision really — it is a sinking into truth, a kind of non-vision — the details are not present. The reality is. You get acquaintance with it. This inner vision takes you where your heart knows to go. Your heart wants, but it also knows. Inner knowingness is beyond vision, but it is within your ken.

It is experience, but it is a non-experience. It is like living somewhere and sinking into a wonderful bed. And then you are in it. It is being.

You have thought that the outer is an expansion of the inner. And, yes, there is that way of looking at it. But from another view, the inner cannot be expanded because it is all that there is.

So We could say that the indwelling is an expansion of the outer. It turns itself inside out, and then you are in the center of the universe. And I am the Center of the Universe. Your Creator is the innerness that you have and yet seek.

I am your inner being. I am the acquaintance deep within you. And it is your inner being that is immortal and that knows Me very well.

The inner and the outer are not exactly opposites. Words make them other than they are. We could say that there is no inner and there is no outer. We could say there is only inner, and that is closer to the truth.

Certainly, there is a preponderance of My children’s looking for the outer, although, in truth, they are always seeking for the remembrance of the inner. Wherever you look, you are seeking Me. Whatever your wanderings, you are seeking Me. You look in many places.

We can say that, in so doing, you peel away layers. “It’s not this,” your heart cries. “Nor that. Nor that.” And you wonder where it is. And you wonder where you have been. And you wonder where you are going. And you wonder whether you have gone anywhere at all.

Here it is. There is no place to go. Your journey is not an outer one. Your journey is a returning to that well of wonder that lies at the heart of you.

When a light bulb goes on within you, when you have a discovery within you, it is called an insight. You have one insight after another. Know that you have insight. You have inner vision. Just stay there a little. Let some of the outerness fall away from your attention. It will still be there. You don’t need to tend it all the time.

Tend a little to the truth of you that is not matter. It is not matter, but it matters very much. When your heart asks the question, “Oh, what is the matter?” know that the answer is you have forgotten to spend some time with your inner beingness. You have forgotten to alight for a while.

Alight with Me here. As you read My words, you enter them, or they enter you, and then their light is yours. The energy of My words becomes charged within you. You do not have to fathom or remember My words. They wash over you, and then We Who were never separated are reunited. You read My words for their light. And My light stays with you. And My light transforms you and the universe.

The flow of My words flows into your heart. They become included in you. And your life takes a turn. You receive and accept My light, and it becomes yours. So take it. I give it to you. Savor it and stand tall in the awareness of what I made when I made you.
