The Cost of Conflict: Reclaiming Your Connection to Source
In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it is easy to fall into the trap of “us versus them.” We see someone who acts unjustly, perhaps someone who has wronged us or gone against our values, and we instinctively cast them in the role of the enemy. We feel justified in our anger and righteous in our pushback. However, there is a profound spiritual cost to maintaining this adversarial stance: when we harden our hearts against another, we inevitably create a barrier between ourselves and our Source Energy.
The truth is that you cannot simultaneously hold an enemy in your crosshairs and remain fully connected to your true self. Source Energy—the essence of love, clarity, and unconditional well-being—simply does not participate in human division. When you push hard against another person, you are engaging in a vibration of resistance. Because Source is inherently inclusive and expansive, it cannot “take sides” in human grievances. By choosing to combat others, you are effectively stepping out of alignment with the very energy that sustains your peace and creativity.
History is littered with battles fought in the name of the Divine, often accompanied by fervent prayers that claim, “God is on our side.” But if we look at the nature of Source Energy, we find a different reality. The Divine is not a partisan participant in our conflicts; it is not on the side of those who fight, nor is it against those you perceive as your opposition. God does not take sides because God represents the wholeness of existence, viewing all beings with the same impartial, loving light.
When we realize that our Source does not engage in our petty wars or personal vendettas, it invites us to reconsider our own behavior. If you want to remain connected to the most powerful, authentic, and peaceful version of yourself, you must be willing to drop the sword. Instead of pouring your energy into the struggle against another, try redirecting that focus back toward your own inner alignment. By letting go of the need for an enemy, you stop pushing against the currents of life and allow yourself to return to the flow of unconditional love—a place where you are always supported and never alone.

You cannot find someone, even if they deserve it, as your enemy and stay Connected with who you are at the same time, because your Source will not take sides like that. No one can stay connected to Source Energy, and push hard against someone else. There are these battles that are fought in the name of “God”, and all of these prayers that say, “God is on our side,” and we say, god is not on your side, nor is god on the side of those who fight against you. god does not take those sides.
