We often define ourselves by our bank accounts, our job titles, our relationship statuses, or the latest “crisis” we are navigating. God said:

Most often you think you are your situations. But a situation is where you are situated. It is not you. You are not your troubles. Nor are you your successes. You are not a barometer of what goes on around you. Your situations may change. They will change. You have fluctuations in your life, but you are not the fluctuations. They are something outside you and, in truth, irrelevant to your being.

You are far more important than your situations. And you are far different from them. You are something else altogether. They have nothing to do with you. They do, however, have to do with your picture of you.

This picture you have is what We are changing. Your concepts. Your beliefs. They never were true, but now they are radically out of date even if they ever had had the remotest validity.

You who are changeless do not need to change. It is your illusions that must change. Not change, be dropped. One of your greatest illusions is that you are not much. If you were what goes on around you, then that would be true. But you are not what goes on around you. You are not human events or world events. You are My advent.

Once you see Truth, you will know yourself as changeless. All will fall into place, and then your life will have changed.

Events are like murmurs. And you are the song. You are My song.

You are not what transpires. You are My eyes. You are the Eye of God on earth. The irony is that you thought you were what your eyes see instead of what you are. You are the see-er, not the seen.

You are My see-er. You are the pilot I have sent to scout. I sent you out and said to you: “Go. Travel to Earth. Tell Me about My creation. Experience its fullness. Give Me reports. Tell Me how you experience this Creation I created. What is the terrain like? What are the ocean waves like? The sand and the sea-shells, the wooded lands and the prairies? And what are My children like when they play together on the playground Earth? Remember Who sent you, and Who is ever watchful of you on your stay there.”

But you were so excited, you forgot My last sentence to you. Instead of objective reports, you sent objections. Instead of rave reports, you ranted. You got immersed in the life there and forgot who you are and Who sent you.

But I sent you, and I am ever watchful of you, and so now you are remembering Truth. The Truth is I hold you to My heart, and you have never left Me. Even on earth, you have never left Me. Your mind wandered off somewhere. You went on a tangent, that’s all. But tangents have an end, or they would not be tangents.

Your mind is beginning to stop its wanderings. It is beginning to locate itself. It is beginning to locate you, not where you are situated, but you. It is beginning to wonder at the possibility that it has been off somewhere. And if it has been off somewhere, then there is somewhere else where it forgot it was.

You are unwinding your illusions. And you are almost done, which means you are almost beginning to see Truth. You are dazzled by the possibilities. You are dazzled by My light, and you blink your eyes.

Soon the eyes I sent to earth will accustom themselves to the Light, and then they will see what has always been there to see. Then they will see their true glory and know they have been nowhere and are everywhere and most especially with Me.
