Reframing the Narrative: Why Diversity is the Ultimate Spiritual Design

In a world that often prizes efficiency, industrialization, and a singular path toward “progress,” we frequently find ourselves labeling nations and cultures as “underdeveloped.” This terminology carries a heavy, albeit silent, implication: that there is one correct destination and some are simply failing to reach it. However, as highlighted in the profound teachings of Abraham-Hicks, this perspective is fundamentally flawed. To look at a nation with different standards of living or different social desires and label it “lesser” is to miss the vibrant tapestry of human existence. When we s***p away our societal biases, we see that these “underdeveloped” nations are not lacking; they are simply following a different blueprint for fulfillment.

The core of this perspective lies in the rejection of homogeneity. As humans, we have a tendency to create benchmarks for success based on our own experiences—usually centered around technological advancement or economic accumulation. Yet, this quote reminds us that we did not manifest into this physical reality to be replicas of one another. If every corner of the globe mirrored the same fast-paced, consumer-driven culture, the expansion of human consciousness would stall. True growth requires contrast. By existing in varied states of being, different cultures offer a unique “flavor” of the human experience, proving that there are infinite ways to live, love, and thrive.

From a spiritual standpoint, this diversity is intentional. The excerpt suggests that we are all extensions of Non-Physical Energy, intentionally choosing a wide array of circumstances to explore the breadth of what is possible. Some energies may reach for the experience of high-tech innovation, while others may intentionally seek the simplicity of a communal, land-based lifestyle. Neither choice is “ahead” of the other in the eyes of the universe. Instead, they are both valid expressions of desire. When we stop viewing the world through a hierarchy of development, we can finally begin to appreciate the richness that comes from these varied standards.

Ultimately, embracing this mindset requires a shift from judgment to appreciation. When we stop trying to “fix” the world to look like ourselves, we open the door to learning from the very differences we once disparaged. There is profound wisdom in cultures that prioritize different values than our own, and there is beauty in the fact that we are not a monolith. We are a “diverse bunch,” and it is through our different desires and different standards that the universe continues its eternal expansion. As Esther, Jerry, and Abraham remind us, it’s not about being the same—it’s about the love found in the magnificent variety of the journey.

[Reference]:

This “underdeveloped” country is not inappropriate in any way. It has different desires and different standards, and it is not lesser than—it is just different. We did not all come to do it the same way. We did not all come to be alike. We came as a diverse bunch of Non-Physical Energies wanting different experiences.
