The Harmonious Balance of Joy: Why There is Room for Everyone’s Desires

In a world that often emphasizes hustle and s*******e, the idea that we live in a “joy-based universe” can feel like a breath of fresh air. At its core, this philosophy suggests that the things we desire are not only possible but are supported by the natural alignment of the world around us. When we lean into what makes us feel fulfilled, we aren’t just serving ourselves; we are participating in a grand, collaborative effort where everyone’s unique preferences play a vital role.

One of the most comforting realizations we can have is that our personal dislikes are often someone else’s passions. Consider the simple image of children playing in the mud. While an adult might see a mess and a chore, the child sees a canvas for imagination and pure sensory delight. This provides a profound metaphor for the adult world: for every task you find tedious or unappealing, there is likely someone else who finds genuine satisfaction and purpose in that very activity. This diversity of interest is what allows our society to function smoothly, ensuring that every need is met by someone who actually enjoys the process.

This natural distribution of interest also acts as a catalyst for innovation and progress. If a specific task or way of living becomes universally unappealing—if truly no one finds joy or value in doing it—humanity inevitably finds a new way forward. We can look back at history and see countless practices and manual labors that have been left behind. As our collective desires shift toward better experiences, we develop technology, new systems, and creative solutions to replace the things that no longer serve our happiness. In this way, joy acts as a compass for evolution.

Adopting this perspective allows us to release the guilt often associated with saying “no” to things that don’t resonate with us. When we stop trying to force ourselves into roles that feel like drudgery, we make space for those who are naturally gifted and enthusiastic about those roles to step in. It creates a more efficient and positive environment for everyone involved. Trusting that the “Universe” or the natural flow of life will provide a solution allows us to focus our energy on our own authentic contributions.

Ultimately, believing in a joy-based universe is about practicing an abundance mindset. It encourages us to trust that our happiness doesn’t come at the expense of others. Instead, by following our own path of excitement and fulfillment, we stay in alignment with a world that is constantly expanding and improving. When we prioritize what brings us light, we contribute to a collective harmony where every person’s unique desire has a place to flourish.

[Reference]:

Anything you desire, the Universe can find a way to let it happen within the context of people’s natural, joyful desires. It must be, for this is a joy-based Universe.

And so, as you watch children playing in the mud and having great joy in it, you might not enjoy playing in the mud, but they do. And so, there’s somebody enjoying doing something you don’t want to do. And that pretty much applies to everything. There’s someone who would enjoy doing every thing that you don’t want to do. And if it really came down to where there was really not one person willing to do that thing, you would develop another way of approaching it. There are a lot of things that were in your history that you no longer participate in. You left them behind because no one wanted to do them.
