The Power of Emotion: Your Inner Compass and Creative Spark

We often think of emotions as mere reactions – fleeting feelings that come and go, sometimes pleasant, sometimes challenging. But what if our emotions played a much more profound role in shaping our reality and guiding our journey? A recent insightful dialogue explores just this, delving into the idea that emotion acts as both a crucial indicator and a powerful activator in our lives.

The discussion, drawing upon the wisdom often attributed to “Yeshua” through Rob Loveland, re-examines Edgar Cayce’s well-known quote: “Spirit is the life, mind is the builder, and the physical is the result.” It poses a fascinating question: how does emotion fit into this fundamental understanding of our existence?

Emotion as Your Inner Guidance System

Imagine your emotions as a sophisticated internal guidance system, constantly providing feedback about your inner landscape. According to this perspective, while our minds are indeed the builders of our reality – shaping our perceptions through thoughts and beliefs – our emotions serve as the immediate indicator of what our minds are constructing.

Consider this: you encounter an event, and an emotional reaction surges through you. This isn’t just a random feeling; it’s a signal. That emotional response acts as an invaluable clue, pointing directly to an underlying belief or thought pattern within you that is triggering that specific reaction. In essence, your emotions show you what you truly believe, even when your conscious mind might not yet be aware of it. They illuminate the frameworks and filters through which you perceive the world, offering a direct path to self-understanding and personal growth.

Emotion as a Catalyst for Creation

Beyond being an indicator, emotion is also presented as a powerful activator. The dialogue suggests that emotion is, at its core, “energy in motion,” and this energy is deeply connected to our spiritual essence. When we set an intention, when we envision something we wish to manifest in our lives, our thoughts provide the blueprint. But it is our emotions that breathe life into that blueprint, acting as the dynamic force that activates our intentions into existence.

Holding a strong, clear intention infused with genuine emotion provides the energetic impetus needed to bring that desire into reality. It’s not enough to simply think about what you want; feeling the essence of it, experiencing the joy or fulfillment of it already being present, supercharges your ability to draw it towards you. Emotion, in this sense, is the fuel that moves our mental constructs from the realm of thought into tangible experience.

Weaving Emotion into Spirit, Mind, and Body

This perspective beautifully integrates emotion into the holistic understanding of our being. It suggests that emotion is not a separate entity but rather a thread woven through all aspects of spirit, mind, and body:

Spirit: As “energy in motion,” emotion is seen as an expression of the spirit, a vital force pulsating within us.
Mind: Emotion serves as a direct reflection of our mental constructs, revealing our thoughts and beliefs.
Body: We experience emotions physically, through sensations and reactions in our bodies, making the connection tangible and undeniable.

This interwoven nature highlights emotion’s critical role in understanding ourselves completely. Even for those who tend to lean more towards intellectual analysis, recognizing and engaging with the emotional dimension can unlock deeper insights and a more profound connection to one’s inner world.

Embracing Your Emotional Landscape

The insights presented offer a valuable invitation to ponder the dynamic power of our feelings. By recognizing emotions as both an insightful indicator of our inner beliefs and a potent activator for bringing our intentions to fruition, we gain a more comprehensive toolset for navigating our lives.

What if we started viewing every emotion not just as something to be managed, but as a message to be understood and an energy to be consciously channeled? By embracing the full spectrum of our emotional landscape, we can better understand our true selves and actively participate in creating the reality we desire.

Yeshua: Emotion as an Indicator … and Activator

By Rob Loveland

Rob: I’m calling in the Ascended Masters, and it looks like this will be Yeshua (Yeshi). So I’ll meet him where I always do, sitting on top of the pyramid in front of my Sacred Temple, sitting on the top step overlooking the water, the landscape.

So, if we had to add a fourth element to the Edgar Cayce quote that “Spirit is the life, mind is the builder, and the physical is the result,” how would we add emotion to that?

Yeshua: Hello again, all. Yes, this is your brother, Yeshi, to continue the conversation. Wouldn’t it be fun to be able to do this all together, sitting in a room, but I digress. We always have fun in any form that we’re able to communicate in this way.

So to answer your question directly, up front — and you know this, Rob; you have already discerned this — I would suggest that emotion is the indicator, but it is also the activator. Let me explain.

So while Edgar Cayce was correct that mind is the builder, that is an indicator that what you think — your thoughts, your beliefs — is what builds your reality, builds your perception of reality. It colors your perception. And in some ways, it puts it into a box that you can understand, and therefore [you] can function within that reality. And your emotions, then, are the indicator to you, within the physical body, of what you are thinking and of what you believe.

You see some event happen, [and] you have an emotional reaction. That is an indicator to you that there is something in your belief system that causes that reaction. And in that sense, it is your guidance system that helps you understand what it is that you believe.

But I would suggest also, by the same token, because emotion is, in fact, energy in motion, and energy is of the Spirit, that it is an activator. When you want to manifest something, bring something into your life, you hold that intention. It is your emotions that activate that into existence, that bring that energy to manifest what it is that you are intending through the mind to be brought into your reality.

So it is both an indicator and an activator, and yes, it is present within the construct of spirit, mind, and body. It is present across all three. Emotion, as energy in motion, is of the spirit, that is the energy. And as we just said, it is an indicator of what is in your mental construct about your reality. And of course, as we all know in the physical, any emotional reaction has a physical component to it as well. You physically feel the result.

This is a valuable question to ponder, and it’s actually somewhat amazing that it has taken this long for you to think on these things. But then, as you admit, you focus more on the mental, on the intellectual, and less on the emotional, the feeling aspect of life. This is okay. It does not mean it is not there. It’s just what you choose to focus on.

I hope this has been helpful. I hope this has addressed your question. As always, if you have any further questions, later on, after you’ve given this a chance to permeate through your own being, through your own feelings, we are always here to address any future questions.

So, knowing that you all have busy days before you, we will leave it at that. With that, I will take my leave. Thank you so much for this opportunity to address you all. Farewell for now.

Rob: Thank you, Yeshi.
