Embracing Your True Path: Letting Go of Judgment and Following Your Joy

In a world filled with societal expectations and rigid standards, it is easy to find ourselves c****t in a cycle of self-doubt. We often look for external permission to chase our interests or live our lives in a way that feels authentic to us. A recent message from the collective known as Thymus offers a refreshing perspective on this struggle, encouraging us to release the heavy burden of judgment and embrace our inherent freedom.

The Cycle of Judgment and Desire

One of the most profound insights from this teaching is how judgment affects our state of being. When we label our desires as “bad” or “unspiritual” based on society’s standards, we often lower our own emotional state. Ironically, this lower vibration can make us feel more stuck or even more attracted to the very things we are trying to avoid.

By viewing our interests through a lens of neutrality rather than criticism, we break the cycle of compulsion. When we stop judging what we want, we can have a pure, healthy experience of our choices. This shift allows us to participate in life based on how we truly feel in the moment, rather than acting out of a sense of rebellion or guilt.

Beliefs as the “Clothing” of the Soul

The message also provides a beautiful metaphor for our personal growth: beliefs are like clothing. Throughout our lives, we try on different perspectives, ideas, and convictions. Sometimes we outgrow them, or we realize they no longer fit the person we are becoming.

Recognizing that beliefs are temporary and fluid allows us to be more compassionate toward ourselves and others. Just as we wouldn’t judge someone for changing their style of dress, we don’t need to judge others for where they are on their personal journey. When we stop judging the “outfits” others are wearing, it becomes much easier to stop judging our own internal shifts.

The Neutrality of the Universe

At the heart of this wisdom is the idea that the source of all existence—often referred to as Source Energy—does not view the world through the lens of human judgment. From a higher perspective, every experience is an opportunity for growth and expansion. There isn’t a cosmic list of “temptations” meant to trip us up; rather, there is a vast landscape of creation for us to explore.

By understanding that the universe views our experiences as neutral, we can finally reclaim our power. We don’t need to wait for a person, a religious institution, or a social circle to tell us it is okay to be ourselves. We already have the permission of our higher selves to pursue what “lights us up.”

Permission to Be Yourself

Ultimately, the teaching from Thymus reminds us that the most important relationship we have is the one with ourselves. When we free ourselves from the fear of what others think, we open the door to a more authentic and joyful life.

You are encouraged to let go of the need for external validation and trust your own inner compass. “Blessings. We are Thymus. We are the collective of ascended masters.

We know that you have all kinds of desires and that you judge your own desires based on society’s standards for what you should and should not partake in. We also know that judgment will lower your vibration, and if you are judging your desires as bad or less than spiritual, you will drop into that lower vibrational state and therefore be even more attracted to the desire that you think of as being bad for you. It isn’t necessarily that the desire is of a lower vibration, but because you believe it is and then you lower your vibration through the judgment, you are likely to partake in it and then judge yourself some more.

This is one way in which you develop a so-called bad habit. However, if you are able to recognize that someone else’s judgment of what it is that you desire does not need to mean anything to you, then you can have a pure experience of that desire, partake in it, feel good about it, and not continue to feel attracted to it over and over again in any sort of compulsive way. In other words, if you see everything as being equal, then you choose what you want to do based on how you feel in any given moment.

And that is a healthy relationship to have with your desires. It is a healthy relationship for you to have with yourself as well. When you realize that no matter what it is that you are thinking of doing, that there is someone out there who would disapprove of it, then eventually you can understand that you don’t need anyone else’s permission to participate in your life the way that you want to. And you also have the capacity to let go of judgment when it comes to what someone else is doing or thinking or saying or believing in.

The truth is that many of you make decisions about other people based entirely on their beliefs, and we invite you to remember that beliefs come and go. Beliefs are like clothing. You try them on for a while, and sometimes you outgrow them, or you just decide that they are uncomfortable, or don’t fit right, or don’t look right on you, and so you let them go.

And so, what that means is you don’t have to judge anyone else based on where they are in regards to their own personal journey in life. And if you let go of your judgment of them, then you are likely to let go of your judgment of self, and if you don’t feel the need to judge yourself, you can have a healthy relationship to your desires and to your participation in those desires. Remember, always, that Source Energy created everything without judgment. Source Energy did not say to Him/Her/Itself, ‘I will create these opportunities for experience and they will be under the category of temptations that no one is supposed to engage in.’

Source Energy saw it all as neutral and knows the value in experiencing everything in creation. And therefore, it is entirely up to you whether you partake in something or not, and it is not up to anyone else or anyone else’s idea of what God thinks about that. It’s time to let all of that go and to free yourselves of society’s judgments. Free yourselves, and be yourselves, and do what it is that lights you up and know that you have our permission and the permission of your very own higher selves and oversouls to do so.
