Is Life a Simulation? A New Perspective on the “Video Game” of Human Existence

The question of whether we are living in a simulation has moved from the fringes of science fiction into the mainstream of scientific and philosophical debate. From tech moguls to theoretical physicists, many are questioning the true nature of our reality. However, a recent perspective shared by a collective known as “The Creators” offers a unique spiritual twist on this concept, suggesting that life on Earth is indeed a simulation—but one of our own design.

In traditional video games, progress is usually marked by competition, overcoming external foes, and “defeating” opponents to reach the next stage. According to this spiritual perspective, the “simulation” of Earth operates on a fundamentally different set of mechanics. We do not advance by conquering others; instead, we “level up” through the cultivation of internal virtues.

Acceptance, love, forgiveness, and compassion are described as the true catalysts for evolution. By shifting our internal state, we effectively move to new timelines or higher dimensions of experience. In this “game,” the goal is not to win against the world, but to integrate with it by letting go of resistance, judgment, and fear.

One of the most comforting aspects of this philosophy is the idea that nothing in our lives is random. If we view life as a self-created simulation, every challenge, encounter, and coincidence becomes a symbolic piece of a much larger puzzle. The obstacles we face are not “glitches” in the system, but rather carefully orchestrated “levels” designed to help us grow.

By adopting the mindset that “everything is here to serve me,” we can begin to investigate the deeper meaning behind our personal struggles. Instead of asking “Why is this happening to me?” we can ask “What is this teaching me?” This shift in perspective allows us to move through life with a sense of curiosity rather than victimhood.

Perhaps the most striking departure from traditional gaming logic is the idea that as we progress, the game actually gets easier. In a standard video game, higher levels increase in speed and difficulty, throwing more complex obstacles at the player. In the human experience, however, spiritual maturity leads to a more fluid existence.

Once a player learns a specific soul lesson—such as how to release judgment or overcome a specific fear—the “simulation” no longer needs to repeat that challenge. As we evolve and “lighten up” by shedding old emotional baggage, we find that we no longer require heavy, difficult experiences to catalyze our growth. We eventually reach a stage where we can consciously choose our challenges, moving through them with grace and intention rather than being c****t in a cycle of repetitive struggle.

Ultimately, viewing life as a self-created simulation is an exercise in radical empowerment. It suggests that we are not passive observers of a pre-determined fate, but active creators who are perpetually coding our own reality with our energy and intentions.

By recognizing that we are the “players” and the “programmers” of our own lives, we can approach our daily experiences with more playfulness. When we stop resisting the challenges and start seeing them as opportunities for soul-level advancement, we transform the simulation from a place of survival into a playground for evolution.

Is Life on Earth a Simulation or a Video Game? ∞ The Creators

Jun 8 2026

“We are here for you. We are the Creators. We are a 12th-dimensional collective of non-physical beings, and we are here to help.

We have heard, witnessed, experienced the thoughts and wonderings of many human beings, and we know that many of you have wondered if life on Earth is, in fact, a simulation. You have also often wondered whether life on Earth is just like a video game. Yes, life on Earth is a simulation, but it is a simulation of your own creation. And yes, it is like a video game, only you do not get to the next level of the game by defeating an opponent.

You get to the next level of your soul’s journey, of your consciousness evolution, by accepting, loving, forgiving, and having compassion for others. That is how you suddenly find yourself on a new timeline, in a new dimension, at a higher density. Since everything is your creation, and because you are creating everything with your own energy, how could you then move forward by defeating something? You are meant to allow everything to be as it is. You lighten up by letting go of fear, judgment, and resistance, and that is how you naturally ascend to a higher level. That is how the video game of your lives works.

Now, once you recognize that everything is your creation, and once you acknowledge that it is all there to serve you, you can let go of resistance a bit more easily. As you recognize these things, and you also adopt the philosophy that says, ‘It is all here to serve me,’ then you can start to understand why something is the way it is, or why someone is behaving the way they are behaving. It is not random, and there is no chaos. It is all uniquely orchestrated for you, the player, the liver of the life, the experiencer of the game.

And everything that you encounter on the path, on the journey of playing this game, has symbolic meaning to you. You know what each item symbolizes for you, and if you are willing to do the investigative work of going within, then you can discover what every symbol means to you. You can understand why you are facing this particular challenge in this particular way, if you can understand that it is part of a master plan to get you to grow.

Now, through your spiritual growth and evolution, and as you ascend to higher and higher levels, another way that your life differs from a video game is that the higher levels get easier and not harder. In a video game, everything starts to move faster, and there are more and more obstacles and challenges being thrown at you, and all that does make you a better player of the game. But once you release resistance, judgment, and fear, you don’t need as many challenges. You don’t need to keep jumping over the same obstacle again and again and again. Once you prove to yourself that you have gleaned everything from a particular experience, there is no need for you to continue to repeat the experience over and over.

In fact, as you move to the higher levels of awareness, you begin to understand that you do create the game that you are playing, and you choose obstacles and the challenges, and you choose to go at your own pace. You still want to grow. You still want to get better at being a human being or an energetic being, but you do not need something that feels like it is outside of you to give you those challenges. You will have matured to the point where you can give yourself the challenges, because you know they will help you to evolve and to ascend. And this is what you are all doing in your very own self-created simulations.

We are The Creators, and we love you very much.”
