INTUITION — OUR INNER DIVINE NAVIGATOR
Intuition is one of the most fascinating human abilities because it exists on the border between the conscious and the unconscious mind.
In psychology, intuition is the ability to quickly arrive at a conclusion without deliberate logical analysis.
The brain constantly processes enormous amounts of information, but only a small fraction of it reaches conscious awareness. An intuitive insight appears when the unconscious has already processed the data and delivers a ready-made answer.
For example: you meet someone and very quickly feel — “something is off.” You can’t explain it. Later it turns out your intuition was right. Your brain picked up micro-signals that your conscious mind did not notice.
From a neurophysiological perspective, intuition is linked to the limbic system, the amygdala, the insula, and the autonomic nervous system.
The body can react to information even before the mind becomes aware of it.
That’s why intuition is often felt through the body: goosebumps, tension, warmth, tightness in the chest, lightness, or a clear sense of “this is right.”
In эзotericism, intuition is seen as a connection to the Higher Self, the Soul, the information field, the collective unconscious, spiritual guides, or the Universe itself.
The mind knows what it has already learned.
Intuition knows what has not yet been logically understood.
It is associated with the sixth sense, the third eye, the Ajna center, and claircognition. Through it, a person receives guidance toward the most harmonious path of development.
Who has intuition?
Animals have very strong sensitivity and the ability to follow internal signals, but this is not quite the same intuition that is discussed in human spiritual development.
Animals live closer to instinct and direct perception, but they do not use intuition as a conscious tool for inner growth.
Humans, on the other hand, can not only receive an inner signal but also recognize it, reflect on it, trust it, or ignore it. That is why intuition becomes not just a perception mechanism, but part of the path of self-awareness and connection with the soul.
Everyone has intuition. The only difference is how developed, active, and accessible it is.
How to tell if it’s intuition or just imagination?
The difference is in the quality of the experience.
Intuition comes instantly. It is short, calm, and does not argue.
For example: “Don’t take that road today.” And that’s it.
Fear and mental imagination, on the other hand, create long scenarios, generate anxiety, and constantly demand proof:
“If I go there, then this will happen, then that, then something terrible…”
That is the mind constructing stories.
Intuition speaks quietly.
Fear shouts.
The mind argues.
Signs of true intuition: inner clarity, calmness, a sense of “rightness,” and emotional stability.
Even when intuition warns about danger, there is usually still clarity and composure inside — not panic or chaos.
Why do we stop hearing intuition?
Main reasons: chronic stress, anxiety, information overload, constant mental noise, lack of self-trust, and a life dominated by logic, patterns, and rigid thinking.
Intuition is also a creative process. It carries spontaneity, uniqueness, and individuality.
It becomes audible in a state of inner silence.
It can manifest in different ways:
Claircognition — you simply know, without explanation.
Clairsentience — information comes through bodily sensations.
Clairvoyance — inner images and symbols.
Clairaudience — inner words or phrases.
How to develop intuition:
1. Intuition journal.
Write down premonitions, feelings, dreams, sudden thoughts. Over time, you’ll notice how often they turn out to be accurate.
Keeping a journal is not just psychology — it is a way of “condensing experience.” In spiritual terms, it can be seen as increasing one’s being mass, like building “spiritual muscles” and becoming internally stronger, more grounded, and more “visible” to the Universe.
2. First answer practice.
Ask a question and write the first answer within 2 seconds, without analysis.
3. Cards practice.
Guess the suit or color of a hidden card.
4. Body scanning.
Imagine option A, then option B, and notice the body’s reaction. Choose the more beneficial feeling response.
5. Body-based yes/no practice.
Look at two objects (for example, a fresh apple and a rotten one) and observe the body’s reaction.
Usually “yes” feels like expansion and warmth, while “no” feels like contraction and tension.
6. Meditation of silence.
10–15 minutes daily of simply observing inner silence.
Intuition and synchronicity.
Intuition is closely connected to the concept of synchronicity.
Carl Gustav Jung considered intuition one of the main psychological functions of the human psyche and linked it to the unconscious and to meaningful coincidences that people experience as guidance.
In esoteric traditions, such events are often called signs from the Universe or path markers.
In spiritual interpretations it is seen as moments when a person finds themselves in the right place at the right time, receiving the right events, people, or information necessary for their development.
These can be like “signposts” — hints the Soul leaves for itself before birth, or signals coming from the Higher Self in the present moment.
For example: suddenly finding the right book, meeting an important person, receiving an unexpected answer, or seeing separate events form one clear picture.
How are intuition and synchronicity connected?
Intuition is the inner navigator, while synchronicity is the external confirmation of the path.
Intuition says: “Go there.”
Synchronicity responds: “Yes, you are on the right path.”
Why doesn’t synchronicity happen for everyone?
The main reason is waiting without action.
For synchronicity to unfold, movement is required.
You have to take steps, make choices, try.
Intuition requires trust. Synchronicity requires action.
When a person calms fear, trusts themselves, sets a clear intention, and starts moving — life begins to respond with meaningful coincidences.
Next post: will go deeper into “synchronicity”, and also explore what “existential mass” is, why it influences inner stability and perception, and how it can be gradually developed in everyday life.
P.S. Freedom begins the moment you stop searching outside for what already lives within.
Sincerely, Liberty
