The Courage of Truth: Embracing Your Divine Purpose and Inner Strength

In a world that often feels chaotic and overwhelming, many of us find ourselves searching for a deeper sense of meaning and a clearer path forward. A profound spiritual perspective on this journey can be found in the teachings of Heavenletters, specifically in the message titled “The Courage of Truth.” This wisdom invites us to reconsider our relationship with the Divine, our understanding of power, and our inherent worth.

By exploring these themes, we can unlock a more courageous way of living that prioritizes authenticity over social conformity.

The Nourishment of the Soul

One of the most striking concepts in this teaching is the idea that we are “God’s refreshment.” While we often look to a higher power for nourishment and guidance, this perspective suggests a reciprocal relationship. We are the “occupation” and the “feast” of the Divine heart.

This shift in perspective reminds us that we are deeply valued. However, with this value comes the gift of free choice—a gift that many of us treat as a burden. We often find ourselves “in shackles,” paralyzed by the fear of making a wrong choice. Yet, as the text suggests, a “wrong” choice is frequently more productive than no choice at all. Non-choosing is simply a form of avoidance, a way to delay growth and shift responsibility onto others.

Redefining Power: From Boardrooms to Inner Truth

To walk the path of truth, we must first dismantle our illusions regarding power. In modern society, we are conditioned to believe that power resides in:

Financial wealth and status.
Corporate authority (the “man in the boardroom”).
Governmental control and imposition.

However, these are often just guises. True power does not come from a cigar, a title, or a bank account. Those are external illusions that we feed with our own feelings of helplessness. When we stop buying into the illusion of worldly authority, we begin to recognize that no person is “higher” than another in the realm of the spirit. True authority is found in the “The Courage of Truth”—the willingness to stand by what is right rather than what is predicted or expected by society.

Embracing Your Inner Royalty

The message of Heavenletters offers a bold claim: every individual possesses an inherent “kingship” or “queenship.” For many, this idea causes discomfort or even a sense of unworthiness. We have been conditioned to see ourselves as “paupers” in a world where only a few are chosen to lead.

But royalty, in a spiritual sense, is not about ordering others around or wearing literal robes. It is about:

Divine Attraction: Drawing others toward the light and grace within you.
Self-Respect: Developing a deep reverence for your own soul, which naturally leads to a deeper respect for others.
Authenticity: Coming out from hiding and allowing yourself to be exactly who you are, without “bluster” or pretense.

When you recognize your own divinity, you no longer feel the need to shout or dominate. You become “simple and royal”—a person who carries themselves with a quiet, unshakable dignity.

Becoming a Gardener of the World

The ultimate call to action in “The Courage of Truth” is to participate in the “gardening” of the world. We are encouraged to stop focusing solely on the outer, physical conflicts and instead tend to the “hungry of heart and soul.”

By blessing everyone—both those who support us and those who challenge us—we contribute to a global shift in consciousness. This act of blessing the ground we walk on and the people we encounter transforms us. We move from a state of longing for courage to becoming “courage incarnate.”

Final Thoughts

Living with the courage of truth means stepping away from the safety of the crowd and claiming your title as a co-creator in this world. It requires us to stop delaying our lives through indecision and to start trusting the inner compass that points toward our highest self.

As you go about your day, remember that you are not a pauper waiting for a miracle; you are a gardener of the Divine, tasked with nourishing a world that is hungry for truth and grace. Be simple, be royal, and above all, have the courage to be you.

God said:

You are My refreshment. Did you ever think of how you nourish Me? You are My occupation and My feast. You occupy My heart, and you are My opportunity to view My love. All of creation is that, but it is you who needs My attention the most. This free choice I gave you has you in shackles, for sometimes you are afraid to move. You are fearful of making a choice in case it’s the wrong one. But a wrong choice is more often better than no choice at all. There is a balance between rushing in and delaying.

Non-choosing is a choice, but it is a choice to delay. When you debate for a very long time, you are practicing avoidance. Then you are waiting for someone or something else to come in and make the decision for you, and then someone or something else is responsible for the turn in your life, and you can blame them if aught goes wrong.

Of course, We are assuming that you know what is right and what is wrong. You have your ideas, and very definite ones they are, but your ideas are fallible, as you have learned. You don’t know as much as you like to think you do. You like to fool yourself. It is a hobby of yours, wouldn’t you agree?

Let Us think a moment of what you have considered power to be. You have thought that the power of the world was power. Money, imposition, authority, government, but all of that is illusion. You think the man in the boardroom smoking a cigar has power. He has the illusion of power which you have bought. He is nothing but a man with a cigar in a boardroom. He feeds his sense of power, and you feed his sense of power with your sense of helplessness, and so it goes.

One of the things I am helping you with, all of you who read this, is to have more courage. It takes courage in this day and age and society to have courage. All too often you were kept after school as a child when you had the courage to say what you thought instead of giving the predicted answer. Society seems to like to corral you one way or another for wheeling your own way, and yet society craves what you have to say.

I do not teach disobedience. I teach obedience to truth. Sometimes truth is called higher power. But truth is not elite. No one is higher than another in the realm of kings.

You have thought you were in the realm of paupers sprinkled with a few kings, but you were mistaken about that. There are a few who wear royal robes, but the robes do not make a king. They are but robes. They are but guise.

When I tell you that you are a king or a queen, you get nervous, shaky actually, and hope no one is reading this over your shoulder. I do not tell you your entitlement in order to boost you. I am not adding anything to you. I am telling you what is.

A true king does not order others around. A true king attracts others to his divinity. Christ was such a true king. And you all do have your little circles. Perhaps they have been too small.

Come out from hiding.

You have to claim your title.

You have been skirting the issues.

You do not have to change the outer.

You have to allow yourself to be who you are.

You need more respect for yourself. Then you will have more respect for others. Then you, full of grace, will be gracious to all around you. No more bluster. When you know your kingship or queenship, you have no need for bluster.

So be you simple and royal today. You have a territory to tend to. You are a simple gardener in the world. Help Me garden. Help Me nourish a starving world that needs Us very much. The world cries out for what We have to give, and so now We give. Our awareness embraces the hungry of heart and soul. Skip over the physical for a moment and bless all alike, those who thwart you and those who extol you. Bless My kingdom. Bless the realm of kings in which you walk. Bless the ground you walk on. Bless all the walkers on it, and you will give them the courage you long for, and before long, you will be courage incarnate.
