In the hustle and bustle of modern life, it is remarkably easy to feel disconnected—from the world, from others, and perhaps most importantly, from the divine presence that resides within. We often find ourselves searching for meaning, asking, “Where is the guidance I need?” when, in truth, the answers we seek are already anchored within our own consciousness. The concept of “knowing thyself” is not merely an intellectual exercise; it is a spiritual homecoming, a journey of recognizing that you are never truly alone.

The Constant Presence

When we call out for guidance, we are often reminded that the divine is not a distant entity but an ever-present companion. Even in moments of confusion or perceived separation, this presence remains square in front of us, woven into our very thoughts and feelings. The longing you feel for fulfillment is actually a signal—a reminder that you are already walking hand-in-hand with an infinite source of love. By acknowledging this connection, you are effectively “squeezing the hand” of the divine, grounding yourself in the reality that you are already exactly where you need to be.

Rediscovering Your True Nature

We often treat our lives as a series of obstacles or a “closet” of complexity that we must wade through to find our authentic selves. However, the message of “knowing thyself” tells us that what we are searching for is the very substance we are made of. You are not a separate fragment of the universe; you are the expression of divine light itself. Like the Sun, which shines not because it claims the light as its own property, but because it finds joy in the act of radiating, you are invited to let your inner light shine forth. Your existence is not a mystery to be solved, but a brilliance to be acknowledged.

Exonerating the Self

To truly know thyself is to practice the art of self-exoneration. We frequently carry burdens of guilt or self-doubt that dim our natural luster. Yet, when you look past the human form and realize that you are “divine love wrapped in a human costume,” those burdens begin to dissolve. As you align your vision with the truth of your existence, you step out of the “dark age” of limited perception and into the realization of total, universal oneness.

Ultimately, knowing thyself is the process of realizing that you are an eternal participant in the dance of creation. You are not just seeking the divine; you are discovering that you are the divine in action. Today, take a moment to look inward and appreciate the wonder that you truly are. As you begin to see yourself through the lens of pure, unabashed love, you allow the world to see that same light reflected back at them. You are already whole, you are already known, and you are already home.

God said:

I love to hear My name from your lips. An utterance formed by your heart, issued by the mind, tongue and lips. You call for Me, and I am already here, but I turn My face towards you fully, and We look into each other’s eyes.

Sometimes you do not see Me. Your heart flails, and you say, “God, where are You?” And all the time I am right here, square in front of you, square in your consciousness.

Despite your distractions, your heart and mind are much directed toward Me. Some kind of awareness of Me is always with you. You may know it as longing as much as you know it as fulfillment.

We take a walk together. Only sometimes you forget that We hold hands. You are so awash in My love that sometimes you forget to notice it.

We walk together, and when you call out My name, you are squeezing My hand, and you are reminding yourself Whose hand you hold.

You long to be My child, which you already are.

You long to be with Me, which you already are.

You long to be uplifted, and you already uplift.

There is no end to you just as there is no end to Me.

You who have always been are just beginning to notice your existence. Your existence has made no sense to you. But you are beginning to wind up your consciousness and to rediscover our total Oneness.

You explore that which you already have. You explore that which you already are. You are My seed that I planted on Earth. Tell Me, what can you be but My wondrousness? You cannot be less. You cannot be more because you are all that there is. There is more of you for you to notice, that’s all.

You have made yourself a closet that you wade through. You go deeper. You go past the frilly dresses. You are the very substance that you seek. You have closeted yourself.

It is as if you live in a dark age when all the time you are lightness yourself. You light up the closet, and you find more of yourself. You will discover your light, and you will blaze it across the universe for all to see, but your real aim is for Me to see you, which I already do. My light in you is precisely what I see.

Exonerate yourself.

Explode My light. Burst it forth. Whose light does the Sun shine? It knows its light is not its own. That is how it can shine it. Nothing belongs to the Sun but its joy in giving light. And you are coming to be like the Sun who shines My light for all.

The Sun lights up the world with My light. My light directly from Me to you lights up your eyes and heart with My unabashed love. My love is the ocean that picks you up and tosses you upon the waves of Heaven. My love brings you Heavenward to yourself.

I want you to know yourself as I know you. I know the truth of you. Now is time for you to know My truth which is the truth of you. You are My love wrapped in a Human form. See My love more than the form. See Me. See yourself.
