It is easy to get c****t up in the smallness of temporary wants—chasing external applause, defending wayward egos, or getting tangled in everyday friction. Yet the moment you expand your vision to include a greater purpose, your entire perspective changes. Even your physical state shifts; your breathing deepens and your mind calms.

Choosing the “high road” means stepping out of crowded lanes of petty grievances and walking a path of integrity, grace, and generosity. While the high road is less crowded, your presence on it naturally inspires others to lift their gaze and follow. You do not have to preach or demand attention; your calm alignment speaks for itself.

True influence rarely comes from shouting or forcing your way to the front. The most profound leaders uplift everyone around them through quiet, steady action.

When you navigate your day with kindness, you bless the metaphorical roads you walk on. You make the journey pleasant for those who travel alongside you. There is no real competition when you realize we are all walking home together.

You are placed exactly where you are for a purpose. You influence people in ways that neither you nor they may fully comprehend in the moment.

The mystery of the universe is not hidden behind complex puzzles; it is openly expressed in the quiet acts of love, patience, and service we offer one another. When you extend a helping hand, encourage someone who is struggling, or choose kindness over conflict, you fulfill your highest calling.

God said:

Discovery is really recovery. And what you recover is love. What is the mystery of the universe but love? Love is the discovery recovered, regained, remembered. Love lost is found. Love not lost is regained. Love out of memory is re-gathered.

Before the discovery and all its parts was the seeking. Edison sought. Columbus sought. What they sought was a small part of what their deeper selves sought.

What manifestation of love are you seeking? In other words, what manifestation of love are you seeking to give? That which you find, you give. That which you are, you offer. You suggest. What do you suggest?

Know what you seek to suggest. Do you seek to amass? To please wayward egos? To gain applause?

Or to give a suggestion of Me, a little hint that others may pick up? How the angle of your life changes when you leave off focusing on the smallness of your wants and move on to bigger things! Your life changes even when you consider the idea of greatness. Your breathing changes.

You know by now that I do not suggest that you neglect yourself. I am suggesting that you pay attention to yourself beyond the pettiness that has fogged you in.

Make your way in the world by enlarging your route. Give up the little alleys and backways and choose the highway. That is the high road, and the high road is not crowded. See who will follow you on the high road. Many have been following you on the lane. They have kept their eyes on you. They have been emulating you. Now give them something to emulate. Give them Me.

It does not have to be in words. You raise your sights, and others raise their sights. Nothing is secret in the world. All is known.

And all know that the world cries for upliftment. Carry your corner of the world higher. You are where you are for a reason. You influence those you influence beyond what they or you see.

Someone influenced you. You will agree that you were influenced. How easy it was to influence you! You went right along, whistling a merry tune.

Now you will strike a higher note because every step of yours will be a blessing. You will bless the roads you walk on. You will bless the flowers beside them. You will bless all who walk on the road with you. The destination is the same.

The start was also the same. You started off together from the same heart of God. Don’t you forget it. Don’t forget from whence you came.

What a send-off I gave you! And what a welcome awaits you!

While you are journeying to Me, you might as well make the walk nice for others, as nice and as pleasant as you can. You do not have to make big marks on the road. You do not need to make big signs or talk loud. Silently help and bless all those who accompany you. What else is there to do?

Do you really want to make it hard for someone else? Do you really think you are in competition? With whom is there to compete? You finish first who finishes last because you have impelled others forward. That is the meaning of the first shall be last, and the last shall be first.

A leader does not push his way to the front. He thinks of all when he thinks of the one next to him or behind him or in front of him.

When you lend a helping hand, it is to Me that you give it. There is no one else to give it to. There is no one else who wants your help so much as I. There is no one on Earth who needs you as I do need you. I need you to resurface as My shining light, for it is My light that you carry within you for the purpose of making it known.
